Description:
On discus: winged Victoria r., her l. foot resting on support (helmet?), her r. hand holding a small circular shield mounted on a palm tree, the shield inscribed 'VIC AV' in two lines, bow and quiver(?) at r., three oval shields scattered at l.

Comments:
The inscription on the shield is an abbreviated form of Victoria Augusti, announcing the victory of the emperor, and the objects scattered around represent the spoils.
A depiction of Victoria in the act of inscribing a shield is included on Trajan's Column (completed 113 AD).
